Share a card with a friend
A list, a card, a reminder: you send them aloud, after confirmation. Your friend receives them in their XNeuronal, or on a simple web page if they don't have it.
Friends and sharing, in settings
Settings › Friends & Sharing brings everything together: invite a friend, accept their request, see what you're sharing. Once connected, you can send cards and messages to each other.
Two ways to receive
If your friend has XNeuronal, the card arrives directly in their memory. Otherwise, they receive a web link that they can open without creating an account.
On a shared list, everyone checks and adds items on their end, and everything stays synchronized.
Step-by-step
Invite a friend
How do I add a friend?
- Open settings, top right, then Friends & Sharing.
- Tap "invite a friend": an invitation link is sent via your chosen method, message or email.
- When they accept, you both appear in each other's friend list.
Send a list
How do I send my shopping list?
- Say "share the shopping list with Sacha."
- XNeuronal asks for confirmation before sending: nothing is sent without your consent.
- Sacha receives the list. If he doesn't have the app, he gets a web link.
Delegate a reminder
Can I make a reminder go off on someone else's phone?
- Say, "remind Sacha to buy bread at 6pm."
- After your confirmation, the reminder will go off for Sacha, and for you too if you ask.
Stop sharing
How do I stop sharing a card?
- Open the card, then its sharing panel: each person can be removed.
- The card stays with you. For the other person, it stops updating.
In the FAQ
- Can I share a list or a card with someone?
- Yes. You say “share the shopping list with Sacha”: they receive the card in their app if they have XNeuronal, or via a simple web link otherwise, without creating an account. With two people on a list, each can check off and add items, everything stays synchronized. You can even delegate a reminder: “remind him to buy bread.”
