- Google removed location reminders from its ecosystem during the Keep to Tasks migration, rolled out widely in January 2026. Saved places became description text, with nothing to trigger them.
- Apple Reminders handles location reminders very well, but does not exist on Android: outside the market we address.
- AI-assisted memories remember what was said. They trigger nothing: you have to go and ask them.
